Job Title: Lift Engineer’s Mate

Location: Tonbridge / Maidstone

Salary: £17,388.80 - £18,532.80 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday (40 Hours a week)

The company is a successful privately owned independent lift company providing maintenance and modernisation solutions to a variety of customers. They are currently looking for an engineer's mate to join their Maintenance Repair Team.

About the Role:

You will assist the Lift Engineer with carrying out scheduled lift, repairs within quoted deadlines. You will reside in the Tonbridge / Maidstone areas due to the proximity that is required for the lead engineer to attend sites.

Liftec will offer you on the job training and based on your successful performance and one year's continuous service you will be enrolled on a NVQ3 Programme to study and train to become a qualified Lift Engineer.

About you:

The role is very much a trainee position so previous experience is not required, however any engineering qualifications or a demonstrable interest in the engineering field will be looked on favourably.
