At Cavendish Nuclear we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Lifting and Mechanical Handling Engineer at our Bristol site.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance at our Sizewell C site. Sizewell C (SZC) will be a 3.2gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6million homes. It will be a close copy of Hinkley Point C which is already under construction in Somerset.
The role
As a Lifting and Mechanical Handling Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The prime areas of activity will include develop lifting strategies and plans to support modular construction and installation of prefabricated equipment from offsite manufacturing facilities, and support planning and preparations for the replicated core scope using lessons learned and modern methods of construction application.
Day to day, you'll play a vital role in developing the projects plans and execution methodologies.
This role is full-time and will be based at our Bristol location.
