Job Title: Low Observability Test and Analysis Engineer
Salary: Up to £45,000, depending on experience
Location: Bristol (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
The role joins the Bristol LO test team who support MBDA programmes throughout their product lifecycles. The majority of the teams work is establishing, progressing and delivering against the risk reduction and qualification strategies that will bring a product into service. We work very closely with related MBDA LO teams who undertake Radio Frequency (RF) signature and Infra-red (IR) signature assessments to ensure we're coherent across the patch.
This role involves supporting and undertaking all aspects radar cross-section (RCS) trials and analysis to support product development and qualification from capturing measurement specifications and producing test instructions, participating in fit-for-trial reviews, to undertaking laboratory radar signature measurements and associated results analysis and performance reporting.
For this role, candidates must be willing to undertake the DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance.
