Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire

Package: £33,460 - £47,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Leading planned maintenance and breakdown tasks on Machine Tools at AWE sites This will Include, but not restricted to; Machine Tool Mechanical systems, Electrical/electronic systems, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems

  • Apply a range of technical fault-finding skills to return Machine Tools to service

  • Gather data and analysis results to improve Machine Tool performance using a range of techniques

  • Supervising and Mentoring Machine Tool practitioners during work activities

  • Planning and deconfliction of your own work and others across different facilities

  • Demonstrating professional behaviours and effectively communicate to Customers, stakeholders and other members of your team

  • With the support of Senior Engineers, undertake technical investigations and generate reports to support modifications, abnormal events, or design reviews

  • Aide with extra tasks such as install, commissioning and capital projects where required

To be considered for these roles, you must have:

  • An engineering apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or Time-served industrial experience in a Machine Tools field

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work complete specific training to work in designated areas of site.
