Maintenance Engineer

Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated maintenance engineer, to integrate into a fast-paced maintenance department. You will be responsible for ensuring that industrial CNC, Automated machinery and equipment runs efficiently. Your work will involve planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance and responding to equipment failures and breakdowns.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE:

• Fault diagnosis on CNC Mills, Turning Centres and Lathes
• Work with detailed Electrical/Mechanical drawings
• Identify root causes of breakdowns 
• Specify maintenance and operating procedures
• Work with and adhere to maintenance procedures
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with statistical for the maintenance department
• Manage liquids in the workplace including testing for bacteria
• Build maintenance and workplace health and safety
• Design site specific equipment as required
• Monitor building systems and processes

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

• Experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer within an industrial environment 
• Fault diagnosis experience in: electrical 3 phase; control io systems; hydraulics; pneumatics
• Formal Engineering Apprenticeship 
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering
• Tidy and organised person, with a proactive approach to continuously improve and develop
• An analytical mindset coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude are essential
