Location: High Post, Salisbury

Salary: £32,000 to £38,000

Job Type: Full time - 37.5 hour week (Mon to Fri - with Fri half day)

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance Department. This opportunity will offer significant training and the ability to contribute to making a difference as we go through our site transformation plan.

The aim of the role:

To develop and maintain the planned maintenance system to ensure all building, plant, and equipment is maintained to a safe and reliable operating state.

Schedule and forecast resource availability against predicted workload for all routine maintenance tasks and shutdown periods

Continuous improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

  • To ensure their own health, safety and welfare and the safety of all other persons who may be affected by their activities.
  • Lead maintenance planning meetings with customers and support functions.
  • Track maintenance tasks and provide weekly reports on a suite of KPIs.
  • Daily review of CMMS tasks, both reactive and proactive, and allocation to maintenance teams.
  • Co-ordinate access to buildings, plant, and equipment in liaison with Production teams.
  • Monitor conformance with regulatory compliance inspection schedule.
  • Organise maintenance kits alongside planned maintenance requirements.
  • Review maintenance activity and schedule follow-up work.
  • Manage emerging Work Orders to prioritise alongside routine maintenance activity
  • Conduct routine audits and process assurance of CMMS inputs and outputs

Person Specification:

  • NVQ3 - An engineering discipline, preferably maintenance focussed
  • Permitted to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence
  • 4 years' experience in recognised trade
  • Proven experience in CMMS software
  • IT Skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
