We supply behind-camera equipment to film & TV shoots across London and we are looking for a new Stock & Maintenance Manager to join our busy team. Maintenance Technician / Stock Controller - Film & TV Equipment
London W3
£30,000 - £35,000
Plus Overtime + Benefits
Reporting to: General Manager, Loading Bay Manager, Managing Director
40 Hours a week (09:00-18:00) with occasional overtime and flexibility as required

The Maintenance Technician / Stock Controller Role:

You will lead a small maintenance and cleaning team and will be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of our warehouse space and hire equipment. Strong organisational and leadership skills are essential. You must have a keen eye for detail and have strong problem-solving capabilities.

Key Duties:

+ Maintaining the high standards of our rental equipment
+ Ensuring accurate stock management using our in house computer systems (Current RMS)
+ Daily/weekly prioritising of maintenance tasks including portable appliance testing (PAT)
+ Regular purchasing of sale stock to maintain optimum stock levels
+ Researching – including research of sustainable solutions – and purchasing of hire stock
+ Developing and maintaining bespoke stock items
+ Supervising some minor vehicle repairs and stock of components
+ Troubleshooting over the phone with customers and attending site if needed
+ Dealing with any minor repair work to the warehouse
+ Contributing to ongoing system improvements
+ Weekly stock meeting to analyse any recent stock issues

Key Skills:

+ Hands on experience in product repair work with a variety of materials
+ Ability to work efficiently and make sound decisions
+ Excellent workshop and tool skills
+ Exemplary attention to detail and organisational skills
+ Confident computer skills
+ Driving
+ A helpful, friendly and positive attitude
