AWE is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Governance and Improvement Lead
AWE are at the start of a once-in-a-generation programme, critical to the defence of the UK in the ever-changing environment, and your skills could be used to ensure the UK remains Safe and Secure for another generation by supporting development of a modern, innovative manufacturing capability. We are tasked with designing and producing a replacement warhead at the same time as managing one of the most important and challenging infrastructure programmes ever undertaken, all at the same time as continuing to deliver the current programme. Salary: £58,500 - £90,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

We are currently recruiting for leadership roles, to develop and strengthen the Manufacturing Engineering capabilities and processes. One of those roles is a Manufacturing Engineering Governance and Improvement Lead - providing the tools and process to simplify the way our teams work within the regulatory framework that we operate in.
Reporting directly into the Group Leader Engineering for Production, this role will suit leaders who are passionate about developing capability, process improvement and supporting our teams. The role will develop our Manufacturing Engineering processes to enable us to transition from how we operate and maintain our production facilities today and into the new product and infrastructure programmes for tomorrow, delivering true value to the business.
