Role: Manufacturing Engineering Governance and Improvement Lead

Location - Reading Area

Salary: £58,500 - £90,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

We are currently recruiting for leadership roles, to develop and strengthen the Manufacturing Engineering capabilities and processes. One of those roles is a Manufacturing Engineering Governance and Improvement Lead - providing the tools and process to simplify the way our teams work within the regulatory framework that we operate in.

Reporting directly into the Group Leader Engineering for Production, this role will suit leaders who are passionate about developing capability, process improvement and supporting our teams. The role will develop our Manufacturing Engineering processes to enable us to transition from how we operate and maintain our production facilities today and into the new product and infrastructure programmes for tomorrow, delivering true value to the business.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Process Ownership and governance for manufacturing system procedures
  • Driving process simplification to free up effort
  • Training requirements and solutions (including partnering)
  • Early Career leadership across the Manufacturing and Assets community
  • Business Management interface for recruitment, including early career
  • Talent development and succession planning
