Hours: Full Time (40hrs per week)

08.00 - 17.30hrs Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 15:00hrs Friday

We design & manufacture a range of standard lighting, control products and custom special projects and solutions for our customers.

We are a small and proactive team of around 30 people with big ambitions so attitude is everything - you will be that positive person, organised, unflappable and cheerful. No two days will be the same in this role working alongside the Operations Manager and Logistics Manager.

Main Tasks

• Involvement across the whole manufacturing process, ensuring the products get to the customers on time and to quality standards is the number one objective.
• Alongside the Operations Manager, ensuring the timely arrival of components from suppliers, monitoring production scheduling and assisting with the designing and implementation of systems and processes to create a disciplined and orderly approach to manufacture.
• Working with the Logistics Manager to improve purchasing, procurement, stocking and logistics planning and execution.
• Liaising with the rest of the GDS team to drive success.

• Initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn essential for this role working in a fast moving, continually evolving business.
• Meticulous attention to detail is also a prerequisite to ensure the production processes continue to operate effectively.
• Able to demonstrate the use of a positive, can-do and organised mid set to delight colleagues and customers.
