THE OPPORTUNITY
As JLR products become increasingly complex, software driven and enabled through the use of AI/ML, it becomes increasingly important to apply a state-of-the-art Modelling & Simulation (M&S) approach during development and testing. Based within the EESE AAD (Assisted and Automated Driving) Validation and Verification Team, this role is to be a part of the team responsible for the Modelling and Simulation of Assisted and Automated Driving systems.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Modelling & Simulation Lead engineer will be responsible for designing and delivering state of the art modelling and simulation methods and tools to validate and verify ADAS system designs. Examples of methods and tools include but are not limited to:
Modelling & Simulation Lead Engineer demonstrates exceptional understanding of Model in the loop (MIL) and Software in the loop (SIL) testing methodologies, ADAS simulation environments and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
We’re looking for Modelling & Simulation Lead Engineer with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, who will build and implement the team’s strategy for the creation of processes and tools to validate these designs through continuous integration, simulation and rapid prototyping also you will be responsible for the creation of process and tools to validate the test case design against JLR specified model behaviour and to apply the test cases to production software.
