Location: Bootle, Liverpool

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 07.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 07.30 - 15.00.

Qualifications Required: BTEC HNC / ONC Electrical / Mech. Engineering (CGLI Equivalent)

S&B Herba Foods Ltd is a leading Rice and Pasta business in the UK (part of the Ebro Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Multi - Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Rice Mill in Bootle, Liverpool.

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the suitable candidate will be apprentice trained, and preferably qualified to a min BTEC ONC level (NVQ level 3), in a relevant Electro - Mechanical engineering discipline, although an ability to multi skill is essential for this role.

As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in -

• Preventative maintenance
• Attending to breakdowns
• New machinery installations
• Projects

About you:

Qualifications:

• BTEC HNC / ONC Electrical / Mech. Engineering (CGLI Equivalent)

As well as the qualifications/standards mentioned above, you will need to be

• Competent with electrical, PLC and pneumatics tasks
• Demonstrate good fabrication skills
• Good at problem solving

Relevant experience in milling / food industry is preferred, though applications from candidates with experience in other relevant industries are welcomed.

This is a role whereby you will be working on your own and in a team; someone versatile and dynamic would be advantageous.
