Job Title: Naval Radar Product Line Lead

Location: Broad Oak, Great Baddow & Cowes (travel to Cowes's site every 2 weeks), we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £90,200 dependent upon experience

What you'll be doing:

· Direct the Naval Radar business ensuring that cost, quality, technical excellence & schedule parameters are all maintained

· Overall management of the diverse portfolio of contracts with a current net order book of circa £300m

· Provide strong leadership and direction to a multifunctional direct team of circa 140 people

· Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships, ensuring clear points of contact and high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement

· Creating a safe and inclusive workplace in which all individuals thrive and give their best

· Support the team and functions to manage succession planning and key critical skills to ensure that an adequate level of capability is maintained in the long-term

· Leadership of major UK and export campaigns and bids

· Ensure business winning activities are appropriately managed in order to achieve attractive and sustainable growth

· You'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role

Your skills and experiences:

· Demonstrable experience in leadership of teams to achieve effective business outcomes

· Project Management experience demonstrated in a professional or managerial role within a significant business or project

· Experience of influencing internal and external stakeholders

· Understanding of product strategies and customer environments

Desirable

· APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent

The BAE Systems Naval Radar sector is an exciting, rapidly growing business area which provides world class sensing capabilities to customers across the globe. The role offers the ability to impart strategic vision and business acumen to the Naval Radar business. As Naval Radar Product Line Lead, you will be responsible for delivering a considerable portfolio of projects, maintain competitive advantage on a range of radar products, and lead major bids and campaigns.
