The role
As a NDT Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The business continues to win new work and grow at a significant pace, as a result we are recruiting for talented, enthusiastic, and driven people.

Day to day, you'll:
* Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality for all Non-Destructive Testing operations and technical queries and ensure regulatory and client standards compliance.
* Be responsible for the Non-Destructive Testing operations for which qualified and assigned, and capable of interpreting and evaluating results in terms of codes, standards, and specifications.
* Ensure adequate self-development and training/cross training is undertaken to fulfil the role and responsibilities, share knowledge with team members and contribute to team development.
* Develop, qualify, and approve procedures, establish and approve techniques, interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures, and designate the particular Non-Destructive Testing methods, techniques, and procedures to be used within the scope and limitations of any certification held.

Essential experience of the NDT Engineer:
* Significant recent and relevant experience in a similar environment.
* Experience of handling high profile strategic projects.
* Good communication skills, IT and capable of working on own initiative.
* Be methodical with good attention to detail.

This role is based on site at Ashton House.

Qualifications for the NDT Engineer:
* PCN /ASNT Level 2 or 3 in: Visual (VT), Penetrant (PT), Magnetic (MT), Ultrasonic (UT).

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
