AWL Inspection and NDT Service (part of the BES Group) are hiring an NDT Technician to join our growing team. We provide Non Destructive Testing and Inspections Services tailored to meet the specific needs of industry.

What will I be doing?

 
AWL Inspection and NDT Services has an exciting opportunity for an NDT Technician to join our team. As an NDT Technician some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Traveling across the North East region, including potential travel across the UK.
  • Undertaking and inspections using NDT techniques such as Radiography, Dye Pen and MPI with potential UT and Visual Inspections.
  • Providing excellent service to our Customers, including and especially when representing the company on the Customers Site.
  • Working on sites such as the AWL factory, ship yards, manufacturing plants, power stations and gas terminals.
  • Working on equipment such as compressors, pipework and high pressure gauges.

What experience do I need?

 
Our team consists of the best, highly skilled and qualified NDT Technicians and we want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. 

  • A clear communicator with a can-do attitude who has the drive, commitment and passion to continuously improve the quality of service.
  • Good knowledge of NDT techniques, especially Radiography. 
  • PCN Level 2 qualification with minimum 5 years experience.
  • A safety passport would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license.
