Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experienceWhat we can offer you:
Dynamic (hybrid) working: We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working policy allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work, however there is a requirement for the Network Team (as a whole) to cover the Network Services from 7am – 7pm weekdays, which requires on-site attendance: this will be via rota.
The OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen in the Information Management Network Team for a Network Services Engineer. We are looking for an enthusiastic / dynamic individual to work within the team. You must have a general Networking background, and be familiar with Routing and Switching, VLANS, protocols such as OSPF & BGP, TCP/IP & UDP.
Note: You must be able to hold a security clearance level of DV (mandatory for the position) if not already cleared to that level.
What we're looking forThe IT sector is constantly evolving to keep pace with both technology and threat, therefore new solutions or changes to the current environment are required on a continual basis.
You will be required to evaluate potential new solutions / options as they arise, and review the current solutions / infrastructure with view to improvement. Training on new platforms will be provided as they are introduced (for familiarity), and you will be encouraged to keep skills / certifications up to date.

The Greater MBDA Network Group comprises of UK, France, Germany and Italy. Although the team you are joining is UK based, this role will give you the opportunity to work with various team members of different Nationalities, depending on the specific project / solution.
You will be joining a dynamic, focussed team providing Network services into the MBDA business where we have a constant stream of projects from upgrades through to totally new solutions that you will take part in the delivery of.
