The role
As a Nuclear Repair Welder you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be joining a pro-active and engaging team of highly motivated and skilled professionals working on complex and cutting-edge equipment and systems. This role offers excellent development opportunities as well as access to specialised training to further enhance your skill set.
Day-to-day, you'll carry out welding activities (MMA and TIG welding where appropriate) in support of operational tasks and utilise your skills and experience in welding and fabrication to provide key services in the repair and inspection of various systems and equipment on all Royal Navy vessels alongside at HMNB Clyde.
This role is full time. Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday - 8.05am to 4.45pm and Friday 8.05am to 12.05pm based full time, onsite at HMNB Clyde. You must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. This position also involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
