WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The role looks at all aspects of the V-Model –based life cycle regarding SW artefacts, requirement cascade, validation, and verification. You will support the planning, co-ordination, delivery, and reporting of requirements to support the delivery of low level/basic software from internal JLR teams and suppliers, using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles in conjunction with other company processes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will be expected to understand complex user requirements and decompose them into functional, system, and detailed software requirements and architecture. You will write work packages and detailed technical work based on the user requirements, identifying and recording technical risks and assumptions made in the software development life cycle.

You will take responsibility for delivering the low level/basic software of safety critical /ASIL rated commodity on time with appropriate quality and at the right cost.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven extensive technical knowledge and experience in Automotive ECU’s Basic software (BSW) design, development and implementation in C++ programming including static and dynamic code analysis
  • Experience in the Hypervisors and integration of the middleware for the complete ADAS Software in Linux/QNX environment E.g., Ubuntu
  • Experience in the use of Adaptive & Classic AUTOSAR basic software including configuration and testing (preferably in the use of the Electrobit AUTOSAR BSW).
  • Experience in middleware and framework design and development
