The Operations Manager role:

As Operations Manager, you will manage and work with the Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Project Management and Installation departments to be the conduit for all decision making, continual business improvement and delivery of our financial plan.

You will also oversee and lead on projects such as:

+ Implementation of global sourcing and supplier agreements for stock (headed by Senior Buyer)
+ Implementation of 3PL to deliver installation kit to hundreds of new build sites every month across the UK
+ Implementation of planning efficiency improvements to maximise installation capacity and reduce on the day issues from customer or internal errors
+ Scaling up of Installation Teams across the UK with regional teams to install kit delivered direct to site

Key Responsibilities:

+ Implementing and monitoring KPIs for cross functional departments to achieve our financial plan
+ Continuous improvement of efficiency
+ Maintaining customer happiness
+ Achieving targets as set by your manager
+ Managing the Operations Department heads to achieve targets and common goals
+ Leading, coaching and managing colleagues for continual business process improvement
+ Executing initiatives

About you:

+ You will have at least 5 years Senior Operations Management experience
+ Track record of delivering high volume installations (over 2,000 per week)
+ Significant evidential experience and track record of delivery in a similar role within a medium to large business organisation
+ Track record of managing a department of over 20 people
+ Track record of leading cross functional team with continuous improvement methods
+ Experience in Financial/MI reporting (profit and loss, margin, cash flow)
+ Experience in budget control and working to financial plans
+ An experienced communicator to Directors and business heads is required
