Who we are:

Established in 1947, we are a family run business who have steadily grown to become one of the most exciting Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction Dealerships in the South of England and we now have a vacancy for a Parts Advisor for our busy depot in Ashford.

About the role:

Ashford is one of our busiest branches and it's bursting with talent and experience. The throughput of the branch is enormous, and we are now looking for an additional parts person to join the team.

The Parts play a pivotal role within a dealership – sourcing items for our workshop team and customers alike, handling goods inwards and then picking, packing and posting Parts.

Systems can be learnt, but a good mechanical mind that allows you to correctly identify the parts in question would be a huge advantage, as would be a sound working knowledge of machinery.

About you:

The ideal Parts Advisor will have:

+ Good communications skills; face-to face, email and on the phone
+ An eye for detail
+ Works well with IT systems
+ Able to use own initiative
+ Works well under pressure during busy periods
+ A good team player

Ideally you would have a forklift licence, but this is not a necessity as training will be given. An interest in machinery would help in the progression of this role, as would, some experience within a warehouse environment.
