WHAT TO EXPECT

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced PED Attributes Lead Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering Propulsion Efficiency, Performance, and Driveability Attributes and Features for our platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the future DNA of the new Avinya model in partnership with Tata, from conception to start of production and beyond.

 

The successful candidate should possess the technical expertise, hands-on vehicle exposure, and data analysis skills required for this high-profile role. Comfortable managing diverse stakeholders and operating under fluid deadlines, you should be proactive, confident in presenting to large teams, and adept at bringing innovative ideas forward.

 

Your role will ensure that the wider business and other attribute teams are fully engaged and aligned to deliver the Reimagine mindset across the JLR team..

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Support the delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway, tracking and reporting status in relevant forums.
  • Work with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements.
  • Support the Programme Attribute Team in identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Plan and support test and development activities as required or specified in the Design Verification Plan (DVP) within set timelines and budget.
  • Conduct competitor and comparator Attribute benchmarking and futuring, including physical/virtual testing, measurement, and visual assessments.
  • Sign-off performance metrics and propulsion efficiency metrics to support vehicle Job #1.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Extensive Systems Engineering experience in an attributes or commodities field.
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Battery Electric Vehicles engineering.
