WHAT TO EXPECT
The Powertrain function within Jaguar Land Rover is looking to appoint a talented PED (Performance, Efficiency & Driveability) Engineer who will have the opportunity to be responsible for supporting the PED Lead Engineer with data analysis, summaries and judgement to support the delivery of the Product Efficiency and Performance & Driveability Attributes and Features for a given vehicle architecture, programme and model year.
A PED Engineer’s scope of work spans the entire PCDS gateways and includes contributions to activities such as target definition, competitor benchmark analysis, management of attribute inputs and trades, vehicle development and sign off to brand DNA and successful certification of product efficiency targets.
The successful candidate should be comfortable operating under fluid and tight deadlines and used to contributing to ensuring that the wider business and other attribute teams are fully engaged and aligned to deliver the Reimagine mindset across an electrified product range.
