The role
As a Principal Engineer - Nuclear Process, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll lead the provision of technical support to nuclear implicated submarine maintenance activities on Western Europe's largest Naval Base and one of the UK's Nuclear Licensed Sites.
Day-to-day, you'll support the development and operation of new facilities for defuel of decommissioned nuclear submarines, and will provide technical guidance on the safe transfer, storage, treatment and disposal or radioactive liquid effluent from in-service submarines.
This role is full time, working 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
