Additionally the role will be able to be involved in key platform integration activities including F-35 and Typhoon.

Ideally the role would suit someone looking to gain a broad experience in Weapon System design, completing tasks that would touch on every domain (not just functional). This role could also involve line management, closer involvement in the integration programme or some tasks earlier in the product life cycle.

This role could be based at Stevenage or Bristol.

  • Support to the SPEAR EW development
  • Management of functional growth options - e.g. anti ship

What we're looking for

  • Experience in using IBM DOORS software
  • Ability to communicate and present technical topics across a diverse team and with the Customer community.

What's in it for you?

  • SPEAR3 is at a very exciting point in the development cycle, with the D&M phase of the development contract and the F-35 integration just starting. This role will give the opportunity to interact across all systems domains to assist the successful progression of the project through to a deliverable product.
  • Additionally there will be opportunities to be part of the F-35 integration programme and involvement in the EW variant of SPEAR3.
