Product Owner - Cooling Systems

WHAT TO EXPECT

Work within multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the creation and delivery of Ignite ideas for the Cooling and Fuel’s team including physical engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programmes meeting all defined targets on cost, quality and time. 

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Contribute to ensure delivery of the Ignite targets specifically for quality, cost and time  
• Work with and support a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate concepts, features and alternatives and develop production releases
• Work within a cross-functional team to ensure robust delivery. Develop the team through the engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs on time, quality and cost
• Meet operational targets created in the strategy phase to ensure they can be delivered robustly
• Build, maintain and manage relationships with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of component costs, investment, vendor tooling and design and development
• Contribute to the overall project cadence and ensure transparent communication and escalation through
• Develop and deliver the test plan, confirm parts availability for all stages and ensure cross-functional requirements are integrated in development
 • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential – 
• Experience of delivery, including physical and software engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs
• Project management
• Coordination of multifunctional teams
• Comprehensive MS office (excel)
 • Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred  

Desirable - 
• Experience of delivering and developing technical products
 • Experience in the delivering technical products including physical and software engineering
