Job Title: Production Electronics Design Engineer

Salary: £30-40k Dependant on experience

Location: Herefordshire

Grove Design is a successful industrial product design company based in Herefordshire. Established by Austin Owens, the company has been working in this sector for over 15 years helping our many clients achieve their product development and production objectives.

We work with a variety of clients from Industrial, Automotive and Agricultural markets to Waste Recycling Plants.

Grove Design is a Design Engineering Consultancy with strong skills in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Analysis, and Product visualisation and we are looking to expand our capabilities in integrating Production Electronic Design.

We need someone who has professional competence and knowledge along with:

• Degree qualified in an appropriate area (but attitude/engagement is more important)
• Has experience in leading the design of production electronics ideally with KiCAD
• Has experience in writing production software for embedded platforms.
• Will give us the confidence to say "Yes, we can take that electronic product to market for you".

About you:

It would be advantageous to have:

• Prototyping and simulation electronic skills.
• Broader mechatronic skills;
• Some PLC programming skills;
• Experience using tools such as: ArmKeil; Arm MBED; STM dev tools; MATLAB Simulink;
• Experience with BLE.
• Someone who can presentably communicate directly with clients and demonstrate experience doing what we need.
