Job Title: Multi Skilled Tradesman

Location: Pontefract

Salary: £20,000 – £30,000 – D.O.E

Job type: Full time – Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30.

20 Days holiday plus statutory.

Bell Lane Garage Ltd is a family run vehicle repair garage and Mot testing station on Langthwaite Business Park in South Kirkby.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types
• Work to the highest level
• Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults
• Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables whilst maintaining records and usage
• Be proficient in replacing vehicle timing belts and chains
• To be comfortable using diagnostic software and diagnosing electronic faults on a range of vehicles
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Own and maintain your own hand tools

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Qualifications – Qualified to NVQ level 2 Standards (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to attend training courses including MOT testing.
• Capable of working alone and as part of a team.
• Good customer service skills.
