Job Title: Quality Engineer - Electrical Engineering / Subsea Cable installation

Correll Group HSEQ department are recruiting an experienced quality engineer to support the business growth and look at key business improvements. Previous experience working in offshore wind farm development is desirable.

The Candidate: 

• Must have a positive approach and work well in a close-knit team.
• Required to be effective at offering solutions as part of offshore wind farm development.

Duties and responsibilities:

Proactively supporting all matters of QA/QC and ISO requirements.

• Support the wider organisation and projects on all matters of quality management.
• Experience working with IAC - Inter array cables.
• Non-conformance reporting and investigation / RCA.
• Prepare and deliver documents as required by the organisation.
• Internal ISO audits of the IMS Integrated management system
• Development of project specific QMP and ITP's.
• Support external audits with clients and ISO auditor for ongoing accreditation.
• Drive & support continuous improvement within the organisation
• High level of attention to detail
• Experienced with electrical engineering / termination and testing EPCI.
• Good analytical skills and report development
• Great communication skills with all stakeholders and interested parties.
• Develop strong relationship with project managers and client quality management teams.
• Support simultaneous ongoing wind farm development projects on matters of QA/QC
• Look at key improvements and continuous improvements of the IMS and organisation.
• Good understanding of quality and methodology requirements e.g., standards, FEMA, lean, six sigma, PDCA, control procedures, verification processes, risk management
• Healthy challenge engineering function / project management to do things first time via proactive engagement and support.
• Drive NCR alignment meetings with clients on specific projects for key communications
• Support HSEQ manger in all matters of 9001 and management of the business IMS.
• Proactive, and positive engagement with all company employees
• Be effective with solutions within a management team.
