Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Fordingbridge, Hampshire

Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest and passion in technology. You will be responsible for supporting the UK and sub-contracted manufacturing through the development of processes and management of the returns system, involving fault finding to component level.

Main Duties:

• Management of returns process and investigating product faults, and in turn support and manage the product issues.
• Working with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Providing feedback for process or tooling improvements, to assist future manufacturing of products.

Skills:

• Preferably with an engineering qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience in contract manufacturing and/or the electronics industry, with a good understanding of printed circuit board assemblies.
• An understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
• Fault finding experience to component level.
• Good communication skills and knowledge of MS Office.

• Usual hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, finish 4pm Fridays (37.75 hrs per week)
