Job title: Senior Engineer - IT Systems (Architecture)

Location: Filton, Frimley, Broadoak or Weymouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £38,734 + dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • In this role, you will be supporting the early stage development of an IT network to host of number applications in the submarine combat system
  • Support with the early stages of the design lifecycle whilst helping to develop the system architecture using model based systems engineering
  • Work collaboratively in a team to elicit and manage customer requirements
  • You will be responsible for defining functional and logical architecture
  • Be responsible for identifying and defining interfaces across system boundaries

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • You will need to hold good experience within model based systems engineering/Enterprise architecture
  • Have gained knowledge of the engineering lifecycle / lifecycle management

The Combat Systems Team

This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to work on multibillion pound long term complex programme. You will be working with stakeholders across various organisations and leading teams comprised of individuals from multiple organisations. It is a great chance to lead, shape and influence work on a multi-billion pound programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
