The Typhoon Avionics Systems Team:
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has a risen within The Typhoon Avionics Systems Team at BAE Systems for a Senior Systems Engineer - Displays & Control. In this dynamic, high performing and growing team you will lead a small team of Systems Engineer responsible for the overall avionics safety analysis, qualification and certification of the integrated system and delivery of product to customers. You will be working with the team responsible for defining systems requirements, interpreting customer requirements into functional requirements and its implementation.
This varied and exciting role will have you interfacing with the customers directly. You will have access to ACR (Active Cockpit Rig/ desktop virtual rig), gaining an insight into how customers want to operate the platform/ product. You will also be joining a multi-national/ multi-cultural organisation with the opportunity to develop skill sets in Engineering and Project Management, with some opportunities for overseas travel..
The scope of this role means you will be a good communicator, comfortable in technical meetings with a structured approach to solving complex problems. Experienced and capable of working within agreed standards and procedures, with a clear understanding of the importance of configuration control.
