The role
As a Senior Engineer (Weapons Engineering), you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary working within the Dynamic Support Business in the delivery of complex deep maintenance periods for the Royal Navy's T23 Frigates.

Day to day you'll be responsible for the delivery of the Type 23 Refit Support Group (RSG) Weapon Engineering output and will liaise with incoming and outgoing Weapon Engineer Officers as vessels come in and out of upkeep. You will be responsible for the status of WE equipment and documentation presented by RSG and the formal handover of such and for the competency and assurance of the RSG Weapon Engineering team.

Essential experience of the Senior Engineer (Weapons Engineering)
* You will be an experienced Engineer with a track record of successful project delivery and delivering change.
* An excellent communicator you will be comfortable with written and verbal communications with the ability to interact at all levels.
* You will have a good understanding of systems engineering and be proactive, agile and adaptable

This is a full-time role based onsite at Devonport.

Qualifications for the Senior Engineer (Weapons Engineering),
* HNC/HND qualified or equivalent in an engineering specialisation with significant demonstrable experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
