The Role:

Novum Structures is looking for an experienced and motivated Site Operative - Level 3 IRATA Technician to join our team based in Turku, Finland.

This role involves the day-to-day execution of works on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee site works safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with Novum's Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Inspect rope access equipment, maintain inspection records, and identify items for replacement or additional orders.
• Collaborate with and report to the Site Supervisor.
• Liaise with site management and participate in scheduled meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and welfare procedures are followed
• Identify and report non-conformances to the Site Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

• IRATA Level 3

Candidates will be expected to attain the following qualifications if they do not already possess them. Full training will be provided as needed upon commencement of employment:

• CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) - Operative card.
• CPCS (Construction Plant Competency Scheme) - Suitable for plant requirements.
• PASMA - Tower for users.
• IPAF 3a, 3b, and 1b.

Experience and Skills:

• Working knowledge of steel, glass, and cladding will be beneficial
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Effective organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

Please note: This role will be based in Turku, Finland. Candidates MUST have eligibility to work in Finland to be considered for this role.
