Dempsey Dyer is a window and door manufacturer based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire and we are looking for a hands-on working Site Supervisor to work on our sites throughout the UK. These sites are mostly in the London area.

Due to the locations of our sites, this role can involve travelling and staying away so a willingness to work away is essential. Hotels and overnight allowances are provided.

Candidates must have window fitting experience, be computer literate, be able to demonstrate excellent planning and communication skills and have a valid CSCS and SSSTS card.

Window fitting experience is essential to this role!

The Role:

Main responsibilities:

• To co-ordinate and supervise site operations using sub contractors following the fitting programmes and ensuring high standards are achieved.
• To satisfy main contractor that Dempsey Dyer achieve all objectives set within contract terms.
• Ensure all operatives are inducted into site specific installation and health and safety plans and follow method statements and risk assessments.
• Attend site meeting with the clients to ensure labour resource can manage site expectations and programme changes are understood.
• Work closely with the contracts manager.
• Perform pre installation checks on site and ensure standards are achieved with regards to quality and housekeeping.

The Candidate:

• Valid CSCS and SSSTS
• Window and door fitting experience
• A full driving licence.
• Experience of dealing directly with clients;
• Strong communicator with the ability to manage and coordinate logistics and installation teams.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and its practical implications.
• Positive and flexible attitude
• Proactive
• Work as part of a team
• Possible working away from home Monday - Friday dependent on location
• First Aid qualification is an advantage.
