Over the past 15 years, Geo Pollution Technologies (GPT) has evolved to become a service-driven organisation providing a vast range of Environmental Management Services.

We are accredited by UK Spill as an emergency responder for on land spills, freshwater spills, groundwater spills, and contaminated soils, we are on call 24/7 with 2 offices based in Wales and Exeter. Our staff includes a team of Environmental Consultants, Contaminated Land specialists and Site Field Engineers.

Job Description:

A Skilled labourer is required to join our Exeter depot team on a permanent basis. Your contracted hours are 37.5 per week between office opening hours of 08:00-17:00 Monday-Friday. But there will be potential to work overtime.

The work will involve assisting the supervisor with environmental audits, carrying out maintenance work on environmental controls and responding to client’s emergency call out (spill response) work. With this position, you will be required to be part of the emergency on-call rota.

Full driving licence is required.

This is a full time, hands-on, manual role. Training will be provided for future development that may include confined space entry & BA, first aid and substation access with the possibility for plant and machinery licences.

Some training will be based in HQ in South Wales, but travel will be provided.

Role & Responsibilities:

* General maintenance in depot
* Assisting team with audits
* Assisting site team in day-to-day duties
* Attending emergency spill responses

Key Skills & Qualifications:

* Full Driving Licence
* Safety Conscious
* Desirable - Valid CSCS card
* References for your work as a Labourer
* The ability to perform physical manual labour
* Desirable – Experience in civils work or drainage
