You should be passionate about the role that effective verification plays in the integrity of complex software products within a system. We use a range of techniques to conduct the verification, with training, help and support always provided.
Our latest systems are in service with the Royal Navy and the Army, and will continue to evolve improving; performance, usability, integrating new effectors and continuously stretching system capabilities.
Within software engineering at MBDA there is the full range of opportunities from low-level hardware interfacing to AI backed decision making, and we look to support each engineer as their interests and capabilities develop.
The product level test team is essential and influential inside of an upbeat Software Engineering Directorate and part of a large progressive and adaptable company.
This is an established close-knit team, who develop and carries out suites of automated tests for execution against weapon system subsystems, collaborating with systems engineers, software developers, and test environment development engineers. The nature of role allows the engineers to gain an understanding of the weapon system as a whole, whilst developing tests and investigating any test failures, which might occur.
What we're looking for from you:
A strong background or keen curiosity about system software verification.
An ability to work with other engineers across the entire software development process from engaging with requirement authorities to automated target integration and proving, supported with effective documentation.
Engineers that can bring experience of new tools, techniques and approaches that might enable us to evolve our processes to improve our efficiency and sustainability.
