WHAT TO EXPECT 

Our STA Engineers are pivotal in securing a steady pipeline of the parts we need to build tomorrow’s vehicles today. You’ll join a growing team, focused on Battery Pack/Cells within JLR EV propulsion, ensuring supplier readiness and ramp up of the supply chain. Travelling to supplier sites across the UK, Europe and wider world you will play an important part in supporting the delivery of excellence and on time delivery of JLR vehicle projects. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Deliver the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) through the application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) 
• Act as the voice of the supplier technical assistance team to drive the delivery of new vehicle lines 
• Shape the development of new parts alongside our supplier base 
• Ensure constant compliance with our evolving policies and practices 
• Building highly productive relationships with colleagues and suppliers 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

Essential 

• Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing or engineering environment 
• A proven record of success in quality management 
• Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management skills 
• Ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external suppliers/customers.   
• Full driving license (UK preferred)
