Salary: £17.50 + p/h (Depending on experience)

John Desmond Ltd is a designer, fabricator and installer of specialist architectural metalwork. We work on projects where exceptionally high standards of architectural detailing are critical and are proud to have successfully developed working relationships with architects, designers and other contractors over our 46 years of trading.

The role:

We currently require experienced steel cladders / steel erector/ steel installers / site fitters / fixers for a long-term project to work in our workshop & on site.

Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage.

* NVQ Level 2. (required)
* Experience with Architectural metalwork, architectural staircase, Structural steel, steel erector /cladding. (At least 3 years’ experience required)
* CSCS card – (Steel Erector – Slinger/Signaller) (required)
* CPCS qualification (Slinger/Signaller - All types) (preferably)
* Fabricating experience (An advantage)
* Welding experience (An advantage)
