WHAT TO EXPECT 

The role will be based within Features and Systems team in the Assisted & Automated Driving (AAD) Department. This is an exciting area, designing and delivering new AAD features through definition of the customer experiences, design of the system and validation and confirmation the design meets the customer intent. 

As a System Architect you'll have the opportunity to work with new and established features and provide the key architecture viewpoint as to how these will be delivered through the distributed functionality of our vehicles and technologies. You will work collaboratively with Attribute, System, V&V and HMI engineers to deliver the customer experiences expected of a modern luxury brand while supporting our system safety and security. 

You will be responsible for creating system architecture designs through our model-based systems engineering framework. Working from functional system designs you will create and assess harmonised solutions to be deployed in our Electrical Vehicle Architecture, collaborating with stakeholders from across our business to ensure their successful integration 

  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

 

  • Hold a formal qualification such as degree within, Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or another relevant subject. 
  • A passion for Systems Engineering with working experience of "V-Model" or Agile development 
  • Experience in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) 
  • Ability to author and review requirements either through a model or requirements defined in a structured, natural language format. 
  • Knowledge of Automotive Networks Technologies (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet 100/1000Base T1) 

It will be considered as a plus, if you have:  

  • Experience of Agile Working Practices 
  • An understanding of AutoSAR software architectures 
  • Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) Process knowledge and experience
