We are looking for people to join our specialist Systems Team within MBDA working on some of the most complex and exciting projects we have ever undertaken. While we're looking for Systems Engineers, as long as you have the right behaviours, mind-set and a solid engineering background, then please get in contact as we can help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge to meet this challenge.
Job Title:
Salary: Circa £40k to 55k depending on experience
Location: Bristol or Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: On average 2/3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. While we aim to be as flexible as possible, due to the nature of the work we do we cannot guarantee a specific on/off site ratio. This will be discussed and agreed on an ongoing basis taking into account business needs and personal circumstances to ensure we get the right balance.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Security Clearance checks (SC), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join as a Systems Engineer in our Electro-Optical (EO) Seekers & Sensors Department. We are responsible for supporting MBDA's complex weapon programmes through the provision of specialist Electro-Optical design support. Depending on the programme this will vary from specification and assessment through to delivery and support. We also lead and conduct industry-leading innovative R&D activities to support future emerging programmes.
The successful applicant will join one of our project teams developing ground-breaking EO Seekers & Sensors for our complex weapons. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our products to meet challenging customer requirements by engaging and coordinating with wider specialist design teams and external entities to ensure we successfully deliver on our commitments.

We will work with you to develop your skills, knowledge and experience, as well as supporting your ongoing professional development, all while ensuring a good work-life balance.
