AWE have exciting new opportunities for Systems Engineers with experience or looking to develop in the definition and development of products from cradle to grave.

Location: Reading

Salary: £29,640- £54,000

Closing Date: 20th August 2024

The Role?

As a Systems Engineer within our Warhead Engineering group, you will play a vital part in the definition and development of bespoke products within warhead systems. Essential candidate criteria for the role includes interest or experience in of the following;

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

  • Requirements capture processes.

  • Model-based System engineering

  • Stakeholder engagement

In addition to this, it would be advantageous for candidates to have interest, knowledge or experience in electronic design and product 'design to manufacture'. There are collaborative opportunities with our US and UK colleagues both overseas and at home.

  • Defining system security architectures to meet requirements.

To be considered for the role, we require candidates to hold a degree qualification and/or extensive experience in electronic engineering, working in a similar environment and possess strong communication skills.
