The role
As a Systems Integration Manager (Thales) you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We are a leading design consultancy providing naval architecture, marine system engineering, electrical engineering, design modelling and project support services to the marine and defence markets.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for the management of the Missions Systems installation and completion into Thales Commissioning Team in accordance with the ITR acceptance strategy and criteria, building key stakeholder relationships.

  • You will also be responsible for the management of the Missions Systems installation and completion into Thales Commissioning Team in accordance with the ITR acceptance strategy and criteria.
  • Additionally you will provide transversal management for the installation to achieve systems whole ship integration aims throughout all build and assembly stages.
  • Participate and drive systems installation strategy, prioritising all requirements.
  • Programme Management of all enabling aspects to enable the delivery of the Wholeship Mission Systems installation.
  • Required to be the Technical Authority within the Production build areas, providing assurance for the installation by ensuring technical management of the engineering output in line with agreed technical scope.


This role is full-time 37 hours a week, permanent position and will be based at Rosyth on-site.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances on occasion, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met.

Essential experience of the Systems Integration Manager

  • Relevant Shipbuilding experience working in a similar service provider
  • Experience in systems engineering or electrical systems
  • Knowledge of previous Mission Systems installations
  • Experience working within environment with energised equipment, aware of isolation & safe systems of work requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience


Qualifications for the Systems Integration Manager

  • You will be degree qualified or equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC Clearance (ITAR) security clearance for this role.
