Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – typically, this may be three days a week on site.

The opportunity:

The Electronic Engineering (EE) Function has an excellent opportunity for a Team Lead within our RF and Antenna Team. The Team Lead provides day-to-day line management of the team while also being involved in working with Equipment Teams across EE supporting business bids, workload forecast cycle and supporting the Group Lead as required.

What we're looking for from you:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and leadership skills. An engineering appreciation is beneficial for some aspects of the role, but a passion, focus, drive and vision to lead a team to deliver successfully is most important.

• Experience of leading a small team would be an advantage, but not essential as there will be the opportunity for development.
• Someone with a high degree of self-motivation and drive, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Appreciation or experience in Project Management and the planning of tasks/activities (use of excel, P6 or MS Project beneficial)
• Ability to set objectives, measure performance, delegate tasks and set deadlines
• An appreciation of electronic engineering, particularly in RF and Antenna design would be desirable.
