You will be leading a Simulation and Modelling team with a range of experiences to deliver a variety of mathematical models in to a complex weapons programme.
Job Title: Team Leader - Simulation and Modelling
Salary: circa £55,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
You will be responsible for the continued delivery of existing models as well as preparing for and delivering new models for future and emerging needs. This will require an understanding of mathematical models and quality processes, managing complex project needs through careful stakeholder management, and supporting the team's development.
In addition, you will be part of a leadership group within the Simulation and Modelling department looking to establish new ways of working for existing and future programmes and interacting with colleagues across MBDA to create shared practices.

Ability to lead technical activities across multiple projects
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of the roles of performance models and development
