Technical Authors (Office Based)

Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary: £26,500 - £45,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

We are looking to recruit a number of candidates with varying levels of knowledge and experience who are looking to develop their career. Successful candidates will be deployed throughout the business producing core product documentation which will include, but is not limited to the design, assembly, movement, maintenance and disassembly of the UK's nuclear deterrent.

To be successful in these roles, we will require you to have the following skills:

  • A background in the generation of technical documentation

  • Engineering experience in an industrial environment or a knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes

Dependent on entry level, candidates will either have a level 3 qualification (ONC/OND), a recognised apprenticeship or a level 4/5 qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in a relevant discipline.

As you would expect for such a role, the highest security clearance is required. You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary clearance which may take some time.
