The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to coordinate the development, testing and verification of new systems and components or commodities into the Cockpit system. The role requires the individual to use the Jaguar Land Rover systems to set up and manage the test plan progression through to sign-off.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for checking all appropriate Jaguar Land Rover standards are met through-out design maturation and managing the test and development plan for several new cockpit programmes. You will be responsible for managing RMDV (Jaguar Land Rover management tracking system) deck for respective programmes, setting and cascading targets to relevant areas. You’ll be accountable for creating a detailed test timing plan. You’ll create and update the Bill of Materials for test parts and obtain quotes from suppliers and test houses to complete plan and liaising with value for money team to gain approval. You’ll be responsible for preparing parts for testing, evaluating results, resolving any problems arising, writing reports and filing back to RMDV.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
To perform this role, you’ll require previous experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment, you’ll be degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred, have a good understanding of the AIMS, Digi buck and Design Verification processes are required, and an understanding of Engineering Standards and Test Procedures.
