Salary: Up to £44,000 - Depending on Skills and Experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Test a wide range of complex manufactured products
  • Diagnose a wide range of complex manufactured products with no technical support
  • Test in accordance with defined Test Schedule/instructions
  • Test in accordance with defined PAS (Performance Specification), determine test solution as required
  • Use a wide range of complex test equipment
  • Use business systems to record product history/compliance
  • Support and assist in the training of personnel
  • Work unsupervised

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • HNC - Electronic/Electrical Engineer
  • To be able to use technical knowledge to undertake complex fault investigations
  • To be able to effectively analyse technical data to inform decisions
  • Quality of tasks/services, the tasks/services is closely related to others and therefore the effectiveness of the team

The Customer Support Team:

As a Test Engineer you will be working in a medium sized, diverse team ranging from apprentices up to time served Engineers. Our Customer Support team works on a range of equipment liaising with various customers. Mainly dealing with the MOD. You will be working on both a mix of modern and refurbishment projects, where you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into other roles across BAE Systems.
