Our client is recruiting on behalf of a digital systems specialist that supports customers with Satellite TV and Ariels as well as fire detection, security solutions and Technology Enabled Care (TEC) to enable their businesses to operate more efficiently.

With decades of combined experience across their team, they offer aerial and satellite solutions as well as fire, security and TEC systems to a host of customers from large estates to small businesses.

As they continue to grow, they are now looking for an experienced TV / IRS (Integrated Reception System) engineer with digital / fibre experience to join their team in Cornwall and the Southwest on a permanent, full-time basis working 40 hours per week.

- Salary of up to £35,000 DOE
- OTE £30, 000 - £40,000
- 20 days’ holiday plus eight Bank Holidays
- Pension (3% employee and 5% employer)

The Role

As a TV / IRS Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining Aerial and Satellite systems across Cornwall and the Southwest.

Specifically, you will use our client’s App based workflow sheets to complete scheduled projects, efficiently carrying out all work to defined quality standards.

With a focus on exceptional customer care and service, you will undertake a range of scheduled works as well as collating client approval documentation.

About You

To be considered a TV / IRS Engineer, you will need:

- Digital / fibre experience
- Previous experience as a Rigger
- IRS SMATV MATV Experience
- The ability to work at heights and confined spaces
- The ability to work in a time critical environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent punctuality
- The ability to work one day a weekend on a rota system for emergency callouts
- An open mind to new skill set training and development
- To be prepared to attend training courses
- To be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- A full, valid driving licence
