MBDA is a leading defence organisation. We are proud of the role we play in supporting the Armed Forces who protect our nations. We partner with governments to work together towards a common goal, defending our freedom.
Salary: Circa £76,000+ depending on experience
What we can offer you:
Dynamic (hybrid) working: We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working policy allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work. Typically for this role you will work 2-3 days per week on-site.
The opportunity:
MBDA Future Systems is the idea factory for future MBDA capability, working with existing product lines to identify capability enhancements, creating exploitation paths for exciting new technologies and exploring the solution space of next generation solutions, generating concepts and down-selecting those to mature into development
.
As Head of Area Protection Future Systems in the UK, you will be responsible for defining and delivering all capability enhancements that will retain and grow MBDA in the UK Area Protection market (Maritime and Land), owning the definition and delivery of the UK Area Protection road map.
This is a key senior influential position, requiring creativity and the ability to provide technical thought leadership, working with business development to define the market need and being confident to push disruptive technologies for exploitation.
