Role title: Warhead Mechanical CAD Engineers
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £37,860 - £50,000 (depending on your suitability & level of experience)

AWE is currently recruiting for Mechanical Design Engineers (CAD) to join our Applied Warhead Engineering Team and apply their expertise in support of AWE's Weapon Projects.
Working within the The Applied Engineering Group, we provide expertise that supports the engineering design and development of in-service and future warheads, both directly and in-directly across all key business areas at AWE. It researches, develops and implements new technologies to help improve the capability and efficiency to design, simulate, manufacture and test across AWE.
These roles are ideally suited to experienced Product Design Engineers looking for a fresh challenge with extensive CAD experience looking to further their career.

Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidates will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE Aldermaston.
