The role
As a Weapons and Ordnance Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working with our partners the MoD and The Royal Navy, you will be part of a team responsible for the co-ordination of embarkation and disembarkation of tactical explosives ordnance. Supporting the deployment and recovery of Towed Array activity when required. This role would see you deploying with your team to fulfil the role of Officer of the Quarter for Torpedo Loading and, on occasion, Towed Array Officer in Charge.
Day to day, you'll:
This role full time role at 37 hours per week and will be based at HMNB Clyde, Helensburgh site with the option for hybrid working 1-2 days per week. The role is adaptable and can be based at various sites in the UK or abroad, and part of the role is being able to deploy with 72 hours' notice to assist in duties pertaining to a vessel at sea. Such travel would not incur cost to you, all flights, hotels & living expenses would be covered by the business.

Please note that this position is subject to enhanced national security vetting. The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements (this may include obtaining SC, NNPPI or Developed Vetting (DV) level of security clearances).
